She is most well-known for her role in the role of Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz and Spamalot in the West End. Her work has garnered her three Olivier Award nominations. In 2015, she was part of the Game of Thrones fifth season in the role of Septa Unella. She was also the main character in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham has been nominated for the Golden Globe Award.
