Carol Lee Brosseau
Miller Gaffney '02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau '03 are the hosts of "Art Breakers,"" which airs on Sunday at 8 pm on the Ovation cable channel. The show focuses on their worlds as art brokers who connect collectors, buyers, and artists. Four episodes were recorded by the couple and will air for the entire month of October beginning Sunday, October 4, at 7 pm Central. Ovation has nearly 50 million customers. It also champions artists through its Ovation Digital Art network. They're hopeful of receiving approval to film more. Baylor was the place where I met many friends that have been influential in my life. Karen Pope, Art History Department. My classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also went with her to Chicago and Paris to study art. It was an amazing opportunity to study art with her. I can recall her declaring that art history is a huge puzzle and that we must be looking for the correct pieces. My dad owned a car dealership, so I had to work there each summer. I worked as a mechanic assistant in the summer, changing oil and brakes.
