Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19, 1965. She is an American actress and producer. Her starring role on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick received two Emmy Awards in 2010 as well as 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Following the conclusion of the seventh season, the show was canceled on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was an New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and family therapist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI who was a venture capitalist. Her mother, who was Jewish, was of English and Episcopalian origins. Sedgwick has declared that she's Jewish and is a part of Passover dinners.
